Account Executive – Instinctif Partners Ireland

Instinctif Partners Ireland consists of a multidisciplinary team which prides itself in offering hands-on support and strategic advice on media relations, public affairs, public policy, online communications, event management and reputation management.

We’re looking for an energetic and confident Account Executive to join our team in Dublin to support our client communications and strategic work programmes. The successful candidate will be an experienced communications practitioner with a strong understanding of the Irish political and media landscape. Agency or political office experience would be an advantage.

This position is perfect for someone who is interested in building a career in public relations or public affairs in a workplace that will help you grow and learn. The role will entail bringing creative thinking and initiative across a range of client accounts, driving client media relations and savvy digital programmes as well as assisting on wider day-to-day work.

The Role

– Helping to develop and manage public affairs, public relations, and communications strategies to allow clients clearly and successfully articulate their voice, whether that is with local or national level stakeholders, or utilising media or social media channels.

– Developing and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, policymakers and public affairs audiences to maximise exposure opportunities for clients.

– Assisting with the creation of media angles for effective story pitching on behalf of clients.

– Undertaking research and analysis on a range of national and local public policy issues, developing briefing notes for internal and external use.

– Supporting the development and drafting of consultation responses, position papers, amendments, press releases, speeches, announcements, reports, and presentation materials, etc.

– Developing and managing social media and digital content across client accounts to support key messaging.

– Identify opportunities for new business development in cooperation with senior staff.

The requirements:

– A strong understanding of the Irish media and political landscape.

– Experience in implementing digital media campaigns.

– Strong writing skills, with attention to detail.

– Ability to work across multiple projects under tight timeframes.

– A passion for storytelling and engaging communication.

– Experience in project coordination.

– Experience working in public relations or public affairs, ideally in an agency or a political party office, would be an advantage.
