Through a highly successful multi-stakeholder engagement programme we advocated to improve recycling systems and promote beverage cartons as a renewable, fully recyclable and low carbon packaging. The programme created a step-change in both attitudes and carton recycling and the industry is now viewed as a model for producer responsibility.
