What we’ve learned from our business resilience tools one year on
A year after their launch, our innovative diagnostic tools CrisisOptic and RecallOptic have helped over 50 businesses quantify their business resilience.
The free to use CrisisOptic tool analyses strengths and weaknesses in ten key areas of businesses’ preparedness for crises, from governance to operational response. Generating a bespoke business resilience score, the online assessment creates a visualised dashboard to inform companies the specific areas where they are most exposed.
Trends from the data CrisisOptic has generated over the past year show the most common areas of weakness are gaps in governance, crisis communications, and learning from post-incident reviews.
RecallOptic uses the same process to enable businesses and organisations to quantify their product recall readiness against international best practice.
Victoria Cross, who leads Instinctif Partners’ Business Resilience team, said: “A year on from their launch these tools have been very well received, helping businesses ranging from major food companies to one of the UK’s leading health and fitness groups, to take an in-depth look at the business resilience of their organisations.”
