Ramsay Returns
In 2014, our colleague Jamie Ramsay embarked on a 14 country, 2 continent, 600 day run, some 18000km in all.
Jamie made his way to the starting line in Vancouver Canada 18 months ago and has since run on average 45km a day to make his way down the West Coast of the Americas to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Nicknamed “Britain’s Forrest Gump” by media across the globe, Jamie has run the equivalent of 428 marathons and raised nearly £18,000 for his three selected charities, CALM, WaterAid and MacMillan Cancer Support.
This Sunday Jamie will complete the final leg of his journey and run from Heathrow Airport to College Green opposite the Houses of Parliament. A mix of friends and industry runners will be joining him for the final mile of the run at 2pm under Wellington Arch, Hyde Park Corner in London.
We are proud to have supported Jamie and these charities on this epic adventure.
Jamie worked alongside Matt Smallwood and Justine Warren on our Leisure & Consumer team for 11 years prior to his trip.
