Instinctif Partners announces the appointment of Paul Sweetman as Director

Instinctif Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Sweetman as a director of its Dublin office. Paul will support the continued growth of the company’s public affairs and public relations offering in Ireland.

Joining Instinctif from Ireland’s largest business advocacy group, Ibec, Paul spent 17 years representing the competitiveness needs of business across an array of sectors. In the past four years, he was director of Ibec’s Financial Services Ireland group, the national trade association representing the full suite of financial services companies in Ireland.

Prior to this he led Ibec’s national technology sector representative group Technology Ireland for a decade and was a board member of Digital Europe. Paul’s other previous briefs in Ibec include Head of Transport and Public Private Partnerships Policy as well as Environment Policy Executive.

Paul is a Chartered Engineer, holds a Professional Certificate in Governance from the Institute of Public Administration, a Certificate in ESG from UC Berkeley Law and has completed leadership programmes at the Technological University of Dublin and Oxford University. He is a former Irish international rower and sits on the Board of Gaisce – The President’s Award.
