Leading the way in ESG reporting

Sustainability is increasingly important for every organisation and the way in which that story is communicated is critical.

We are proud to announce that our Content & Creative team has won two awards at the IR Society Best Practice Awards 2019 last night, for their work with Polymetal. The awards are judged by a panel of investor relations and investment community professionals and recognise companies for best-in-class investor communication.

Polymetal was awarded Best Communication of ESG, where they were recognised for their long-term value creation across all communications with investors and a clearly defined approach. They were also named Best Annual Report (International) for their effective and innovative corporate reporting.

“We are seeing clear shift towards a focus on ESG communications, with C-suites recognising that ESG practices strongly affect investor and wider stakeholder opinion” said Paul Owen, Managing Partner at Instinctif. Tatiana Ridley, Head of ESG at Instinctif’s corporate reporting practice, added:  “It is great to see Polymetal win the Best Communication of ESG award because they truly embed sustainability in all aspects of their business. Environmental, social and governance principles are at the core of Polymetal’s strategy and business model, and fundamental to the company’s vision for sustaining value. We want to congratulate the entire Polymetal team for winning both amazing accolades.”

Polymetal, a leading global gold producer and top five global silver producer, has been working with Instinctif Partners for several years on their annual and sustainability reports, developing their alignment to international best practice standards and helping to articulate their strategy, achievements and vision.

“Polymetal’s annual report has always been focused on concise, brief yet comprehensive communication to our investors and other stakeholders meeting regulatory and best practice requirements in all jurisdictions of our presence.” said Maxim Nazimok, Chief Financial Officer, Polymetal International.  “I am very proud of this recognition of our work by the IR Society and grateful to both our internal Polymetal team and the team at Instinctif who made this award possible.”

Daria Goncharova, Polymetal’s Chief Sustainability Officer added: “We have been focusing on the effective communication of our approach to sustainability and responsible development for several years, and are proud to be recognised for our leadership in ESG practice and reporting.”
