Instinctif Partners congratulates client Polymetal for winning sustainability award
We are delighted to announce that our client Polymetal has become the first Russian company to be included in the RobecoSAM’s Sustainability Yearbook 2019, and has won this year’s ‘Industry Mover distinction following its excellent sustainability performance.
The RobecoSAM’s Sustainability Yearbook, the world’s most comprehensive publication on corporate sustainability, compiles the world’s most sustainable companies.
The report includes only the top 15% of firms in terms of environmental, social and governance, with Polymetal earning the ‘Industry Mover’ distinction for the greatest improvement in performance over the past year.
Produced by our Content & Creative team, Polymetal’s Sustainability Report displays its exemplary sustainability strategy in a visually engaging and dynamic report. It highlights Polymetal’s many sustainability initiatives, with the company following the UN Global Compact, EITI, CDP, Cyanide Code and Global Reporting Initiative, as well as being included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and FTSE4Good, an ethical investment stock market.
Polymetal International plc is a leading global gold producer and top five global silver producer, with assets across Russia and Kazakhstan.
Daria Goncharova, Chief Sustainability Officer of Polymetal, commented: ‘We are pleased that our commitment to integrate sustainable development principles in our business has been highly recognised by RobecoSAM. Leadership in sustainability has always been a priority for us. However, we believe that sustainable development means continuous improvement in the way we deal with environmental, social and governance issues.’
