Instinctif Partners supports international insurtech business Innovation Group in its acquisition by Allianz X

Innovation Group, a leading global provider of claims and technology solutions to the insurance and automotive industries, appointed Instinctif Partners to provide communications strategy advice ahead of the company’s proposed acquisition by Allianz X, the digital investments arm of Allianz Group, which was announced in October 2022, subject to the approval of the relevant competition and regulatory authorities.

With over 1,200 clients across Australia, Germany, Poland, South Africa, Spain, the UK, and the USA, Innovation Group provides comprehensive operational support and expert services to the world’s leading insurers, fleet managers, and automotive manufacturers.

Partnering with Allianz X, a specialist in backing digital growth companies, provides Innovation Group with the support to accelerate investment in its technology and global services capabilities, benefiting both clients and employees.

Instinctif Partners’ German office has been providing corporate communications advice to Innovation Group’s German business since early 2021. As part of the mandate, Instinctif Partners supported the launch of Innovation Group’s new digital claims management platform, Gateway, in the region. Due to its international capabilities, Instinctif Partners was also able to support the transaction for the UK-headquartered Innovation Group via its team in London.
