Farewell to Nick
It is with great sadness that we share the news that Nick Southall passed away on Tuesday evening after a fight against cancer.
Nick joined the Instinctif Partners co-creation team (All About the Idea as was) in April 2012 and he made an impact from his very first day. From his outlandish shirts to his biker boots, conformity was never high on his agenda. He was always willing to share his stories and advice, many of our younger colleagues will remember him fondly as a brilliant mentor.
He played a key role in developing some of the consumer aspects of our offer, from kitchen paper towels (Ora), to the “Spotify of magazines” (Readly), he was a fantastic PR consultant, trusted and loved by all of his clients. Nick made a huge contribution to all aspects of Instinctif life and the growth of our company.
There was more to life than work. He was a true family man and leaves behind his wife, Nibs, and two lovely young daughters. He was a passionate music lover, not only managing his own band but also another called “It Bites”.
He will be sorely missed by all of us here, he was loved by so many.
