Dr Mark Thorpe has been appointed as Advisor to No Turning Back 2020

Dr Mark Thorpe, Group Head of Thought Leadership and Board Director of Instinctif’s Insight & Research team Truth, has joined NoTurningBack2020 as an Advisor. No Turning Back is a long term programme that launched in July 2016 with a commitment to inspire action inside the UK PR, Communications, Marketing & Sports Marketing sector to work towards:

• 20% of the total young talent that enters the industry each year to come from black, Asian, minority ethnic backgrounds and for this talent to stay in our sector until
• 20% of leadership roles are represented by black, Asian, minority ethnic talent

Mark has over 25 years’ experience in strategic insight and has worked with many major global companies. He has practised across numerous sectors, including healthcare, food, drink, technology, retail and financial services. Mark wants to help retain and develop Black, Asian, minority ethnic talent in the Marketing and Communications sector and will work alongside the NoTurningBack2020 team on their 2021/2022 Talent Retention programmes.
