Cathal Lee appointed Managing Partner of Instinctif Partners’ Dublin office
Cathal Lee has been promoted to Managing Partner of Instinctif Partners’ office in Dublin, to support the continued growth of the team in 2022 and beyond.
Cathal joined Instinctif three years ago as an Associate Director, in which time the Dublin team has doubled in size. He has worked to broaden the service offering to incorporate expanded media relations and corporate communications, and to deepen the integration with Public Policy teams in London, Berlin and Brussels. Cathal has two decades of experience in public affairs and corporate communications, having previously served as a political adviser in the Houses of the Oireachtas (Irish Parliament), then managing public affairs for the Construction Industry Federation (CIF). Until 2019, he was CEO of Lee Communications, a company he established in 2011 to provide public affairs and corporate communications support to numerous cross-sector organisations.
Cathal Lee, Managing Partner, said: “I am delighted to be taking on the leadership of our deeply talented Dublin team who have so much to offer our clients. Our team’s breadth of experience and expertise means we are uniquely positioned to guide businesses through these times of change. I also look forward to continuing to work closely with colleagues across EMEA to solve our clients’ challenges.”
Ed Amory, CEO, said: “Cathal has played a critical part in the rapid growth of our Dublin office, working with some of the biggest businesses in the world, and supporting the integration of Public Policy teams across London, Berlin and Brussels. I am very pleased that he is taking on the role of Managing Partner, and I am confident he will continue to lead the team from strength to strength.”
Instinctif Partners’ Public Policy operates across the UK and EU, with further support provided across MENA and South Africa. The consultancy is independently owned, with the majority stake held by private equity firm, LDC.
