Director – Quantitative Research

Practice Area: Insight & Research

Location: London: Truth

Truth Consulting:

We are pathfinders and strategists working at the intersection of culture and commerce to create change, specialising in brand, innovation and business strategy. We are a naturally collaborative, global partner, with an emphasis on expansive thinking, a reverence for richness of insight and the creative flair to deliver commercial impact. We let the nature of the project and our clients’ needs guide our approach. At the heart of everything we do, is accessing the truth that sits beneath the surface to influence and create positive change for our clients. Our diverse team of specialists seek to bring the widest range of sources and methods to any problem, helping us find new connections, create new ways of seeing people’s worlds and generating practical applications for this truth.

Background and overview of Role:

At Truth, we have been successful at growing our business and brand to solve the most challenging business problems and questions. This is often why our clients seek us out, as well as return to us. While we are fortunate at Truth to receive briefs from some of the largest and leading businesses around the world – helping them address their most meaty and thorny business issues in relation to brand, product, category, innovation, creative development and customer exploration – we also recognise we have an opportunity gap in relation to driving a truly world class quantitative function.

Truth has a strong quantitative team, most of whom have grown with the business.  We are specialists in segmentation and have our own in-house analytics capability.  What we lack, is a figurehead to lead our quant function, drive client awareness and help us grasp the significant growth opportunity that we know is there.  With this in mind, we would like to bring in a senior director with strong quantitative expertise and experience to help us create, build and drive this part of our offer. As part of this, we expect the successful candidate to have existing client relationships that they will be able to leverage to help generate incremental revenue for Truth.

Truth Directors enjoy the support of experienced senior colleagues, a great team of talented and committed researchers and specialists, and forward thinking internal teams in design, HR, finance, and IT. Together these allow Directors the space, support and expertise to help them focus on their role: growing clients, growing teams, doing great work and helping maintain and grow Truth’s culture. We know the importance of making everyone’s role rewarding and we recognize the unique talents Directors bring.  Truth works hard to ensure they have all the tools and support they need to grow themselves, their teams and the business.

This is a really exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who has entrepreneurial flair and is ready for the next move in their career. They will play a critical role as part of the senior management team, influencing decision-making on all aspects of the business, beyond our quantitative capabilities.

Key skills and experience:

  • Autonomously driving client relationships, account building and generating revenue. Directors are expected to manage a number of key client relationships and, depending on experience, will typically generate upwards of £500k GP per annum
