Background and overview of Role:

At Truth, we have been successful at growing our business and brand to solve the most challenging business problems and questions. This is often why our clients seek us out, as well as return to us.

 

We have had an excellent year (in 2019), with c60% EBIT growth and many new clients and now need to both expand the team to continue our growth, as well as reinforce key accounts that have been on an upward trajectory. We are now seeking another director to help manage an existing account as well as helping us bring in and grow the Truth business.

 

Directors at Truth enjoy the support of experienced senior colleagues, a great team of talented and committed researchers and specialists and forward thinking internal teams in design, HR, finance, and IT. Together these allow Directors the space, support and expertise to help them focus on their role: growing clients, growing teams, doing great work and helping maintain and grow Truth’s culture. We know the importance of making everyone’s role rewarding but we recognize the unique talents Directors bring and work hard to ensure they have all the tools, support and teams they need to grow themselves, their teams and the business.

 

We believe it is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who has entrepreneurial flair and is ready for the next move in their career. They will play a critical role as part of the senior management team, influencing decision making on all aspects of the business.

 

 

Key skills and experience:

  • Will already have a wealth of experience in the relevant areas
  • Autonomously driving client relationships, account building and generating revenue. Directors are expected to manage a number of key client relationships and, depending on experience, will typically generate upwards of £400-500k GP per annum
  • Strong client relationship building and management
  • Considered a thought leader in the industry; experienced in writing papers, presenting at conferences, or publishing their work
  • An aptitude to think strategically and commercially; developing profound insights for clients
  • Excellent analysis and presentation skills; leading and developing pitches
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; as well as proposal writing
  • Adept at most qualitative research approaches and ideally knowledgeable and experienced with quantitative methods and techniques
  • Cultural analysis and insight experience ideal
  • First class moderation, interviewing and observational skills
  • Strong leadership and direction of projects; with the ability to influence and lead a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
