Consultant/Senior Account Manager

We are looking for a talented and motivated Consultant/ Senior Account Manager who will be joining our team in our Dubai office.

 

Role Overview:

The Senior Account Manager/ Consultant is responsible for the supervision of account work performed by more junior staff. The individual is responsible for leading client work & providing ongoing client counsel from award to completion, as well as organic client growth. This position interacts directly with the client, collaborates within the team and across the consultancy around the region to assure our standards are met.  The individual also assists the Senior Consultant and Partner with management and team development.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

Core

  • Comfortable in day to day client contact and manages relationships where appropriate
  • Provide advice and guidance to clients
  • Ensures efficient, high quality day-to-day delivery of client programme
  • Drives and coordinates media and analyst relations activity
  • Drafts written materials that are well-informed and audience appropriate, requiring minimal amends from team members
  • An increasing understanding of the media, communication and business skills needed to run accounts
  • Fully participates in the development of new business proposals and pitch presentations
  • Able to post on social media for clients with minimal supervision
  • Plans and manages the organisation of client events
  • Recognises a crisis situation and knows how to escalate response
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital communications and an ability to carry out research and monitoring on behalf of clients for issues and opportunities

 

Commercial

  • Proactively looks for opportunities to add value to day-to-day client programmes
  • Understanding of financial controls and budgeting procedures on the accounts worked on
  • Manages time effectively, recognises when clients are being over-serviced and escalates this to account lead
  • Networks and acts as an ambassador for Instinctif Partners outside of the organisation

 

Skills and experience:

 

Essential

  • 3+ years’ work experience

 

Desirable

  • Experience in a PR, Consultancy or other Agency environment would be an advantage
