Business Resilience Consultant

Location: Oxford

Role Overview:

This role would suit someone wanting to move into a crisis management specialism. No previous experience in risk and crisis is required although it would be an advantage.

 

We are looking for someone who can, with coaching take on smaller projects. Ongoing coaching will be provided and there will be opportunities for continuous development.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

With appropriate support and coaching from our senior team we would like you to take on:

  • Assisting with the   creation and delivery of impactful training workshops to embed best practice within our clients’ organisations
  • Contributing strategic and creative ideas and developing these into tangible concepts
  • Dealing with media both proactively and reactively
  • Fully integrating digital elements into each project
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders within Instinctif Partners, our clients’ organisations and beyond
  • Building day-to-day client relationship with a number of smaller clients
  • Involvement in interconnected programmes working with other teams such as film/ design/ public policy, Instinctif Partners’ international network and our crisis response network partners
  • Contributing to the delivery of our marketing strategy

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally one to three years’ experience in a communications or public affairs discipline
  • Ideally some hands-on experience in risk and crisis
  • A willingness and confidence to learn the wider range of consultancy services we offer as part of our unique Business Resilience offer
  • Strong, clear and concise written communication skills
  • Confident and engaging presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strategic thinking – you always see the big picture
  • Attention to detail – you understand that this is where processes stand or fall
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • An analytical problem-solver who can quickly and accurately identify and address key issues
  • Excellent time management and you are used to planning projects against a pre-determined time allocation whilst multi-tasking
  • Food industry or FMCG experience would be an advantage but not a deal breaker if you don’t have it
