Associate Partner – Innovation

Location: London

Opportunity for a highly ambitious individual with an outstanding consumer and creative background to join the Innovation team – a pillar of excellence within the Instinctif Partners business with a focus on delivering multichannel creative campaigns.

The Innovation team is also responsible for pioneering different and innovative ways to deliver exceptional client programmes, challenging traditional ways of working and utilising the latest technology to push the boundaries of the Instinctif Partners services and encompasses the centre for excellence. 


Core role:

  • Take full responsibility for delivery of clients’ communications and marketing programmes, including insight and strategy development, content strategy and creation, content amplification across a range of channels including social, paid media, and traditional media
  • Key client contact and direction of account, including management of budgets and delivery of work against scope
  • Confident in leading new business responses
  • Managing a team of individuals day-to-day to deliver compelling client programmes


Main responsibilities and requirements:

  • Act as an integral part of the client’s strategic advisory team, providing senior counsel and tactical advice
  • Development and implementation of content marketing strategies for clients, setting short-term and long-term goals, in line with relevant business and communications objectives
  • Working closely and collaboratively with internal teams, clients and any external agencies to deliver marketing strategies
  • Ability to understand and translate client brief into an actionable communications plan, utilising research and insight to form strategy
  • Ability to utilise full range of measurement and analytics platforms to monitor, report and evolve strategy
  • Understanding of brand and brand governance to ensure content strategy aligns to brand
  • Oversee day-to-day client delivery, maintain high standards, ensuring deadlines are met and fostering a positive relationship with clients
  • Support Instinctif in development of innovative client solutions, best practices and experiences
  • Support and nurture the upskilling of talent, and management of junior team members
  • Contribute and / or lead to the development of new business, including lead role in developing a response to a new business brief. Ability to confidently pitch and sell work
  • Extremely organised and able to manage several complex clients briefs, and support with the resource planning of the team
  • Ambitious, energetic and proactive mindset
  • Inquisitive mind, open to developing or sourcing new solutions for clients


Technical skills

  • Experience with Google Analytics, SocialBakers (or alternate), Talkwalker (or alternate), all social media channels, and paid-media
  • Experience in optimizing content for SEO and use of tools such as SEMRush or similar
  • Knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn campaign Manager and Twitter Advertising platform
  • Knowledge of CRM and CMS systems a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite a plus
  • Proven record of excellent writing skills



  • Seven+ years’ experience in multi-channel communications and client management
  • Strong digital background with a track record of success
  • Experience in developing and delivering high-profile multi-channel communications campaigns
  • Experience working with multiple brands in a complex digital environment
