Account Manager – Financial Services

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager to join the rapidly growing Financial Services team.  We have a broad high quality client base offering the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of briefs including:


  • Issues led campaigns
  • Strategic positioning and corporate profile raising
  • Media relations and B2B/B2C brand building
  • Integrated digital communications and strategy development
  • Financial communications
  • Multi-practice programmes working with Public Policy, Content & Creative, Film & Motion and Digital teams
  • Multi-market activity working across Instinctif Partners’ international network


Our client base spans a broad range of subsectors including banking, insurance, wealth management, alternative finance, FinTech, private equity, retirement planning, asset management, mortgages, property and conveyancing.


We have a strong focus on personal development in a highly supportive culture, with access to formal training programmes and international network initiatives.  This role reports to an Account Director/Associate Partner and is located at 65 Gresham Street, London EC2



We are looking for an ambitious Account Manager keen to take the next step in their career.


Core competencies must include:

  • Passionate about Financial Services and keen to join a dynamic, ambitious team
  • Experience in consultancy required
  • Ideally experience of working across both B2B and B2C briefs
  • Comfortable in day to day client contact and manages relationships where appropriate
  • Able to provide advice and guidance to clients
  • Ensure efficient, high quality day-to-day delivery of client programmes
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking in maintaining momentum on client accounts
  • Draft written materials that are well-informed and audience appropriate, requiring minimal amends from senior team members
  • Comfortable working within a team and able to manage junior resource effectively
  • Plans and manages the organisation of client events
  • Recognises a crisis situation and knows how to escalate response
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital communications
  • Good understanding of the media, communication and business skills needed to run accounts
  • Fully participates in the development of new business proposals and pitch presentations
