We connect out clients with the financial community, the media, customers, employees and wide range of stakeholders with insight and expertise.


Role Overview:

We are looking for a mid-level capital markets specialist – either at Account Manager or Account Director level to join out 14 person strong Real Estate & Construction team covering a growing portfolio of housebuilding, construction and diversified industrial clients. We advise a wide spectrum of clients ranging from constituents of FTSE 250 through to fast growing, smaller businesses. The successful candidate will have strong capital markets credentials and be well versed in all aspects of financial calendar delivery with some transactional experience to be able to support the senior team in the delivery of first-class strategic counsel and financial communications advice. Amongst other things, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating media and analyst relations activity on existing client accounts as well as being fully integrated in the development of new business opportunities. The role is intended to give the ideal candidate the opportunity to develop advisory skills, hone regulatory best practice and further their understanding of the broader communications landscape.





  • Comfortable in day to day client contact and manages relationships where appropriate
  • Provide advice and guidance to clients
  • Ensures efficient, high quality day to day delivery of client programmes
  • Drives and coordinates media and analyst relations activity
  • Drafts written materials that are well-informed and audience appropriate, requiring minimal input from senior team members
  • A strong understanding of the media, communication and business skills needed to run accounts
  • Fully participates in the development of new business proposals and pitch presentations
  • Understands the role of social media and broader digital landscape
  • Plans and manages the organization of client events
  • Recognises a crisis situation and knows how to escalate response
  • Able to nurture junior team members including on-the-job coaching



  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment for listed companies
  • Outline understanding of how to read financial statements
  • Effective at delivering financial calendar communications programmes
  • Able to handle RNS news announcements including managing client sign off
  • Developing advisory skills and growing awareness of regulatory best practice
  • Able to judge a material price sensitive issue and seek senior counsel
  • Developing a network of contacts across the City as well as financial/ business media


Skills & Experience



  • Ideally degree educated in any discipline
  • 3+ years financial PR experience



  • Experience in Property, Construction, Industrials, Business/ Support Services and/or an related experience in Banking, Broking, Finance, Law, Accountancy and Management/Marketing would be an advantage

Other Information:

  • Working Hours: 37.5 per week to be worked during normal business hours
