Account Director – Innovation (Consumer)

Opportunity for a highly ambitious individual with an outstanding consumer and creative background to join the Innovation team – a pillar of excellence within the Instinctif Partners business with a focus on delivering multichannel creative campaigns and digital services.

The Innovation team is also responsible for pioneering different and innovative ways to deliver exceptional client programmes, challenging traditional ways of working and utilising the latest technology to push the boundaries of the Instinctif Partners services.

 

Core role:

  • Creative and confident consultant to manage and delivery consumer-facing multi-channel campaigns
  • Day-to-day lead and oversight of delivering consumer communications and marketing programmes. Experience in insight and strategy development, content ideation and creation, content amplification across a range of channels including media relations, social media, and OOH events or stunts

 

Main responsibilities and requirements:

  • Development and implementation of consumer campaigns for clients
  • Confident in managing clients, providing strategic and tactical advice and counsel
  • Ability to understand and translate client briefs into actionable communications plans, utilising research and insight to inform strategy
  • Ability to utilise full communications matrices to deliver short and long-term goals for client, including social media and community management, influencer marketing and engagement, consumer media relations, and knowledge of paid-for media and partnerships
  • Ability to utilise full range of measurement and analytics platforms to monitor, report and evolve strategy
  • Working closely and collaboratively with internal teams, clients and any external agencies to deliver marketing strategies
  • Understanding of brand, brand governance and tone of voice to ensure content strategy aligns to brand
  • Excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail
  • Maintain high standards, ensuring deadlines are met and fostering a positive relationship with clients
  • Support Instinctif in development of creative and consumer services, best practices and experiences
  • Contribute to the development of new business, including lead role in developing a response to a new business brief. Ability to confidently pitch required
  • Extremely organised and able to manage several complex client briefs, and support with the resource planning of the team
  • Creative, energetic and proactive mindset, with an interest in and awareness of current consumer trends and behaviours
  • Inquisitive mind, open to developing or sourcing new solutions for clients

 

Desirable skills

  • Strong consumer media relationships
  • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of analytical tools like Google Analytics, SocialBakers, Talkwalker a bonus
  • Strong knowledge of social media channels, organic content management and community engagement
  • Good eye for design and creative execution. Hands-on design experience a bonus
  • Knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Twitter Advertising platform
  • Proven record of excellent writing skills

 

Experience

  • Five+ years’ experience in multi-channel communications and client management
  • Strong digital background with a track record of success
  • Experience in developing and delivering consumer multi-channel communications campaigns
  • Experience working with multiple brands in a complex digital environment
