Verity Barton

Verity is a political and regulatory specialist with more than 15 years’ experience in front line politics and corporate affairs consultancy. She advises heavily regulated businesses and industries on navigating the intersection between politics and the economy. Verity provides strategic counsel on what policy and politics means for business-critical decisions and how to engage and influence the stakeholders that matter. 

Verity specialises in financial services, energy, the built environment and construction, and medicines. Having studied law, Verity was a member of the Queensland Parliament and adviser to senior Australian politicians before joining Instinctif Partners. She remains active in party politics.
