Instinctif Partners announces Julian Walker as CEO
Instinctif Partners has announced the arrival of Julian Walker as CEO.
Most recently Chief Communications Officer at CWT, Julian has a strong track-record of leading in-house and agency teams – having founded boutique capital markets firm Gainsborough, and held creative, development or management roles at consultancy stalwarts including Hogarth Partnership (now MHP), Citigate Dewe Rogerson, Brunswick and Burson-Marsteller.
Client-side experience includes corporate affairs and IR mandates at Amec Foster Wheeler plc, Travelport and Chase Manhattan Bank.
Julian is our latest senior appointment, following the arrival of Jim Donaldson as Non-Executive Chair last month. He will join Jim and the existing leadership team in driving forward a clear growth plan centered on the embedding of strategy and insights capabilities into Instinctif’s core corporate, capital markets and public policy offer.
As Group CEO, he will have oversight of operations in London, Dubai, Riyadh, Berlin, Frankfurt, Brussels, Dublin and Johannesburg, advising over 700 clients with a team of around 300 consultants. He will also oversee Truth Consulting, Instinctif Group’s research and insights business.
Julian Walker, CEO, said: “Instinctif Partners has a fantastic brand positioning around Partners in Change, delivering integrated reputation and communications solutions that drive huge value for clients. I am particularly drawn to the opportunity presented by the blend of Instinctif and Truth capabilities, as more businesses look to data and insight to unlock growth”.
Commenting on the news, Jim Donaldson, Non-Executive Chairman, added, “Julian has empowered successful in-house and agency teams to deliver outstanding results over many years. I’m excited to work alongside someone of his calibre in spearheading our firm’s evolution.”
