Instinctif client celebrates 2020 awards success
Instinctif Partners’ client Polymetal has achieved great success in annual and sustainability reporting and investor relations at a number of recent awards ceremonies including the IR Society (UK), Moscow Exchange, IR Magazine (Europe) and Communicate Magazine (UK). Instinctif has been working with Polymetal developing their alignment to international best practice standards and helping to articulate their business model, strategy and ESG leadership.
At the IR Society Best Practices Awards 2020, Polymetal won two awards:
- ‘Most Effective Overall Communication of Company Investment Proposition (International Companies)’: The judges commended Polymetal for making excellent progress in areas such as sustainability and governance, and for delivering a robust set of materials that clearly and consistently articulated the investment proposition and were easy to navigate.
- ‘Best Annual Report’: Polymetal produced a clear and concise Annual Report which embraced best practice considerations. Pages that were highlighted as being excellent included those detailing what the company does, the strategy, the business model and the key performance indicators, alongside well laid out information on corporate governance. The company had also clearly articulated how sustainability is embedded in its operations and supplemented this with examples further on in the report which addressed areas such as stakeholder engagement.
At the Moscow Exchange 2020 Annual Report Awards, Polymetal’s annual report won first place in the metals & mining sector and received the silver award in the main category, Best Annual Report for companies with a market cap over RUB 200 billion. This was the first time the company had been nominated.
At the IR Magazine Awards Europe 2020, the company was awarded Best ESG materiality reporting (small to mid-cap) and shortlisted in Best Annual Report (mid-cap), Best Investor Event (small to mid-cap) and Best IR Website (mid-cap).
