Instinctif Partners has made a number of changes to the senior leadership of its UK corporate and campaigns practice to support the expansion of its integrated communications offering.
Laura O’Connell, currently head of the UK corporate and campaigns practice, is being promoted to become Chair of UK corporate and campaigns. Laura has played a transformative role in the business in the six years since the consultancy she co-founded, Wriglesworth, was acquired by Instinctif, with her work enabling Instinctif to substantially scale its corporate practice and offer. In this new role, her focus will be on building the next stage of the business’ corporate growth story, on new business and on mentoring colleagues across the firm. Laura will report to the CEO and will work closely with the Group Board.
Tom Nutt will join Instinctif as the new head of UK corporate & campaigns, from his current role as head of corporate for the UK and Europe at Grayling. Tom brings a wealth of experience as a senior level corporate adviser and manager, joining a very strong team. He will work closely with Laura in building out the corporate practice and delivering integrated communications services across the group, reporting to the CEO.
In addition, Emily Luscombe, currently Group Head of Client Services, will be promoted to Chief Client Officer for the group. Emily joined Instinctif two years ago from Golin and has since played a critical role in building out the integrated offer and ways of working across Instinctif. This newly created role will see her take responsibility for delivering a seamless client facing experience across practices and geographies, working to build and develop new and existing group-wide client relationships, also reporting to the CEO.
Ed Amory, CEO, said: “We are thrilled that Laura and Tom will be playing such pivotal roles in the evolution of our corporate communications business, taking one of Instinctif’s core practices to the next level to support changing client demands. A crucial element of those client requirements is our ability to deliver a seamless integrated offer across different practices, and Emily will be driving this forward in her newly created group role.”
Instinctif Partners is independently owned, with the majority stake held by private equity firm LDC.
