Goodbody, a specialist investment banking, wealth management and asset management firm, has appointed Instinctif Partners to promote its UK investment banking capabilities.

As a full-service investment bank focused on the mid-cap market, Goodbody has seen strong growth in its UK business since opening its London office in 2015. Instinctif’s brief is to help further raise the profile of the firm demonstrating its quality, focus and specialism.

Within its investment banking division, Goodbody provides broking, transaction and advisory services, as well as research, distribution and market leading execution. Working seamlessly across the UK and Ireland, Goodbody is corporate broker to 19 companies, has raised over €10bn for clients in the last three years and produces specialist research covering nearly 100 companies.

The Instinctif team is led by Nick Woods, Managing Partner and Head of Financial Services, supported by Ross Gillam, Harriet Chamberlain, Nick Corrin, Malini Parkash and Amy Boekstein. The team will report to Jon Ihle, Head of Communications and Piers Coombs, Head of London Office at Goodbody.

Jon Ihle, Head of Communications at Goodbody, said: “Throughout the competitive pitch process we were impressed by Instinctif’s creativity, critical thinking and industry expertise. Their ability to develop a programme that blends advisory, traditional media, content creation and digital was compelling and has already started to deliver strong results for the firm.”

Nick Woods, Managing Partner and Head of Financial Services added: “Goodbody has a fantastic heritage and its excellent investment banking platform has driven impressive growth in the UK since opening its London office.  We look forward to working with Piers, Jon and the wider Goodbody team to promote their first-class offering and to further build upon the success they have achieved to date.”
