Navigating a Year of Change: Innovation, Compliance, and Opportunity

“The future is ours to shape, and we should do so with a sense of enlightened self-interest and optimism.” – Vint Cerf, ‘Father of the Internet’
2025 will be a year of balancing priorities. On one hand, we must meet the demands of compliance, particularly as we transition to the new ISO standard. On the other hand, we cannot afford to slow down in adopting innovative tools that will keep us competitive. Achieving this balance will require careful planning, cross-departmental collaboration, and, a clear understanding of how technology can serve our people and clients.
Technologies like Microsoft Copilot and NVidia’s AI Boxes offer a glimpse of how we can thread this needle. By keeping data securely within our infrastructure, these tools enable us to remain compliant while still exploring the full potential of AI. We can also look to our AI-driven micro-agency, Fleta, to sandbox these technologies to assess whether they merit the investment of rolling them out to the wider business.
Despite the challenges, I’m optimistic about what lies ahead. Technology isn’t just a tool; it’s a way to drive meaningful change in how we work and deliver value to our clients. This year will require us to adapt, innovate, and invest in new capabilities, all while navigating an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
2025 may be a year of change, but it’s also a year of opportunity. By embracing transformation thoughtfully and responsibly, I believe we can emerge stronger, more secure, and better equipped to face the future.
