We will discuss what their reported drivers and barriers to taking action on climate change are, including the impact of Covid. Louise McLaren, Director at Truth Consulting, will provide tangible principles for companies to consider, and we will host a panel discussion. Panel participants will be: Mike Barry, Strategic Advisor, speaker, commentator on Sustainable Business; Cat Lee, Ethics, Sustainability & Communities Lead at Ted Baker; and Deshnee van Rooijen, Global Marketing Director and sustainability strategy lead at Philips Domestic Appliances. Key areas we will explore:
  • Covid stimulating an increased sense of civic and societal responsibility
  • The pandemic being perceived as having slowed down our efforts in tackling climate change
  • But increased confidence that the Government and companies are playing their part in addressing the climate emergency
