Scout 24 AG

How do we create shareholder value from a successful reorganisation?

Challenge:
Setting up the necessary investor relations structures in advance of the IPO on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and conveying the strengths of the continuously growing and highly profitable business model.

Action:
Pre-IPO, we provided ongoing investor relations support, including advice on the structure and content of the IR website, the development of relevant communication media, and the main transparency obligations as a listed company. Since the public listing, we ensure that the capital markets transparency obligations are met and provide support in all financial communications matters (including the financial reporting). PR-wise, we help that a consistent corporate story is told to all relevant stakeholders.

Result:
Despite a difficult and volatile capital markets environment, Scout24 has successfully realised its IPO within the initially set price range and timeframe. Approximately 32% of the equity capital were placed with international investors at a valuation of c. €1.0bn, €228m of which out of a capital increase. This allowed the company to significantly reduce its debt. Scout24 very actively communicates with its investors and fulfils all transparency obligations in a timely manner. Shortly after the IPO, the first quarterly financial report was published and commented via an analyst call. In 2016, we helped to create the company’s first online annual report in a combined HTML/PDF format.

At Instinctif Partners they are very professional, excellent people and they understand the way we work and that’s very important for us.
– Marie Fabiunke, Head of Corporate Communications & PR
