Today

We have established ourselves as one of the leading independent business communications consultancies. Many large PR firms are wholly owned by global networks, marking us out as one of the top global independent firms.

Today, we are over 450 professionals extending across six practice disciplines with 20 offices in ten countries worldwide spanning Europe, the US, Africa, Middle East and Asia with turnover approaching £50 million.

2015 – 2016

In 2015, we continued to be recognised by our peers for our work across our 850 clients. We have also been celebrated as a firm having been shortlisted by PR Week as one of the Best Places to Work, by the CBI Growing Business Awards as UK Employer of the Year and significantly we entered 2016 having been named “City Agency of the Year 2016” at the PRCA UK City and Financial Awards.

2014

In February 2014, we rebranded globally as Instinctif Partners, while retaining the industry leading Truth brand for our Insight and Research practice.

2011 – 2013

In October 2011, independent private equity group Vitruvian Partners LLP invested in us, valuing the business at approximately £40 million. With Vitruvian’s support we continued to invest in the business, remaining independent but with the financial backing to execute the next phase of our vision. We broadened our footprint, added further senior talent to our core practice areas and invested across Europe, Africa, North America, Asia and the Middle East.

2007 – 2010

From the core practice of business communications, we diversified our client services across four further complementary practice areas: government relations and public affairs; employee engagement; strategic insight and research; and branding, design, reporting and digital. Our vision and pioneering partnership model attracted significant talent.

By 2010, we had grown its turnover to approaching £35million with 279 employees.

2006

We effectively began life as College Hill in 1990 but the core transformation commenced in 2006 when College Group was founded, enabling our business to build on the UK capital markets specialism and begin to develop an international communications consultancy.

In 2006 we comprised of around 80 people, retained by 100 listed companies, with turnover approaching £10 million annually.
